If your baby is choking because the liquid is flowing too quickly, we recommend switching to a teat with a slower flow rate. For instance, if you are currently using a Dense Flow (L) teat, switching to a Medium or Slow flow will help regulate the speed.

Suavinex offers a range of flow options designed to adapt to your baby's developing needs:

Adaptable Flow (A) [0M+]: Automatically regulates liquid flow based on the baby's sucking strength, mimicking the natural mechanics of breastfeeding. Ideal for breastfed or mixed-fed infants.

Slow Flow (S) [0M+]: Provides a highly restricted, limited flow. Perfect for a newborn's first days, as well as for water or glucose feeds.

Medium Flow (M) [3M+]: Designed for medium-density liquids. Ideal for standard milk, juices, and very light purees.

Dense Flow (L) [6M+]: Features a wider opening to accommodate thick liquids and heavier purees.

When you shake the bottle, some contents may come out through the holes in the teats. To avoid this, use the white cap that comes with your bottle. You must place the cap between the bottle and the teats. This way, you can shake or transport the bottle without any risk of it spilling out.

Our teats Flows:

Adaptable Flow (A): Lets more or less liquid flow depending on the strength with which the baby sucks, just like the mother's teats. Specifically designed for breastfed babies. 0mo+
Slow flow (S): Lets a limited flow of liquid through. Ideal for the first few days of a newborn's life for milk, glucose or water feeds. 0m+
Medium Flow (M): Lets all types of medium-density liquids through. Ideal for milk, juice and purees. 3m+
Dense Flow (L): Lets thick liquids flow thanks to its wide opening. 6m+

Yes, you can buy bottle teats SX pro and Zero Zero (slow flow, medium flow, dense flow, adaptable flow), and Zero Zero replacement bag according to baby's age.

Yes, all teats have an anti-colic valve. This compensates for the difference in air pressure in the bottle, helps prevent the teats from collapsing, and reduces the risk of the child swallowing air, also known as colic.

Except for the teats, the rest of the components of the bottle (bottle, lid, glass, thread) can be washed in the dishwasher.

Yellowing of silicone can be caused by age, heat, UV exposure, or repeated sterilization is usually permanent. However, this does not alter the quality or functionality of the product. You can try cleaning with baking soda, white vinegar, or sterilizing. Avoid bleach, harsh solvents, abrasive scrubbers, or strong oxidizing chemicals, as they can damage the silicone and make it unsafe for infant use. If the teat is sticky, cracked, swollen, excessively cloudy, or discolored, it's best to replace it rather than try to restore it.

Yes, glass bottles are completely safe and very hygienic. Complying with current regulations and passing high-quality controls that guarantee that its use is safe, as long as the indicated use recommendations are followed.

Yes, you can use baby bottles to freeze breast milk. Remember that it should not be stored for a period longer than 6 months. If you ever have any doubts or questions, feel free to check with your family doctor.

Yes, you can safely use our glass baby bottle in the microwave.

We recommend that bottles should be replaced every two months and teats every 20 - 25 days.

To ensure that bottles are not damaged, we must never put them in the dishwasher or wash them with detergents (like washing-up liquid). We should sterilise them, separating all the different parts first: screw top, lid, teat and bottle. In the case of glass bottles, they should not be used in the microwave.

Make sure you have inserted the teat properly and that the top has been screwed on tightly.

Bottles made from polypropylene (PP) and decorated using non-toxic paints are not harmful for babies. It is a food-grade product. However, it is not completely resistant and with use, and as a result of cleaning and sterilising methods, it does gradually deteriorate, although this does not pose a risk to your baby.

Suavinex has not manufactured wide neck polycarbonate bottles since April 2010 and narrow neck bottles since November 2010. Our wide neck bottles are now made from polypropylene, which is free from Bisphenol-A (BPA), and the narrow neck bottles are made from glass. Our commitment to babies' health is also a commitment to your health and safety, and we always intend to offer families products that are considered to be safe. Like other brands, we used polycarbonate to manufacture our bottles because, until that time, it was a product that the competent European health authorities considered safe.

You can give it to them from birth.

The designs of Suavinex soothers comply with current regulations that prevent them from being swallowed. In the event that the baby puts the soother in his mouth, do not panic. All soothers have ventilation holes so that the airways are not obstructed. As we indicate in the recommendations for use, try to remove it as gently as possible.

Suavinex features a unique, physiological nipple design "SX PRO". Its flat and symmetrical shape guarantees perfect placement in the mouth every time, minimizing pressure on the palate for a natural feel. For any guidance on feeding, remember you can always consult your family doctor.

Yes, all Suavinex soothers have invisible ventilation holes, so that the nipple is soft when the baby sucks. Water can enter through these holes. In the instructions for use that accompany the soothers, we indicate that if water does get in, you should place the soother with the nipple facing up and press from the end and inwards in order to extract it.

For hygiene and safety reasons, it is advisable to change soothers every month and a half or two months. Remove the soother if there is any sign of deterioration, even if it occurs before the indicated time has been reached.

Once sterilized and the nipple is completely dry, it should be stored in a clean, dry, covered container. They should not be stored in humid places and/or at high temperatures.

By regulation, soothers do not require a best before date.

It is recommendable to change them every month and a half or two months at the most, as well as alternating the use of several soothers.

The Spanish Society of Paediatric Dentistry (SEOP) recommends the use of soothers up to the age of 3.

No, provided that your child stops using it by the age of 3. According to the Spanish Society of Paediatric Dentistry (SEOP), while prolonged soother use can displace a child's teeth, the alignment typically corrects itself within a few months of stopping. At this stage, permanent jaw malformations or bone deformations are rare. Additionally, dental changes depend entirely on how long and how intensely your little one sucks, so not all children will experience them. Always check with your family doctor or pediatric dentist if you have any specific concerns.

It is important to inspect the soother or teat carefully before each use, especially once the child has teeth, and pull the teat in different directions. Dispose of it if you notice any signs of damage or weakness. Also, the teat or soother must not be left in direct sunlight or close to a heat source and they must not be left in contact with a disinfectant (sterilising solution) for longer than recommended, as this could damage the teat. They must always be used under an adult's supervision, and all parts that are not in use must be kept out of reach of children.

Sticky teats are a sign that the teat is beginning to wear down, which typically happens after about 4 weeks of use. It is common on latex material from other brands. However , Suavinex teats are made of high quality silicone, not latex. Please note. To prolong their lifespan, we recommend keeping teats away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Additionally, avoid boiling them for extended periods, as this can accelerate wear and cause the latex to lose its natural properties. As always, please check with your family doctor if you have any questions.

No, soother clips or cases cannot be sterilized or microwaved. You can wash them with water and specific soap.

No. For safety, the chains of the soother clips cannot be lengthened, the baby could put it around the neck and it could be damaged, resulting in danger.

Soother clips are not suction accessories and are not intended to be placed in the mouth. Despite this, all soother clips have holes to allow ventilation in case the baby puts it in his mouth. As we have indicated in the recommendations for use, try to remove it as gently as possible. Please note that the use of the clip must be subject to adult supervision.
